Director/Producer: Woo Jung Cho is a meditation practitioner, an artist and a film and video maker based in NYC. In all her practices, she is interested in exploring the existential angst of being and creating a space whether imagined or physical of connection and community. She’s held various leadership positions at a film foundation, a documentary production company, and a theatrical distribution company. Her producing credits include, Twelve Disciples of Nelson Mandela which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received an Independent Spirit Award Nomination, and Lest We Forget, which premiered at the International Documentary Film Festival of Amsterdam. Woo has been involved with the Princess Grace Foundation for over fifteen years, initially serving on the film panel, then its Arts Advisory Council and currently serves as the Chair of the Council, helping to oversee its Award making process in film, theatre and dance. She is also actively involved in bringing Buddhist meditation practices to Harlem and Upper Manhattan.
Editor: Cindy Yoon is a film and video editor who has worked in feature, documentary, commercial, and short form film projects. Her interest in media began in Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where she focused on media and international relations. Projects she has contributed to include “Winter’s Bone,” Oscar nominee for Best Picture and winner of the 2010 Sundance Grand Jury Prize, and “Monogamy,” winner of Best New York Narrative at theTribeca Film Festival.
Co-Producer / Assistant Editor: JiYe Kim is an artist and video and film editor based in Brooklyn. She began her career in experimental films, working with Anita Thacher and Barbara Hammer. Since then, she has worked on a range of projects, from narrative films to documentaries to art films. Her most recent editorial and assistant editorial credits include Pachinko, Halston, High Maintenance, The Deuce, and Cerro Rico, Tierra Rita.
